It’s the perfect location for an out of town wedding yet still having the convenience of city access. This verdant countryside, lush rainforests and breathtaking views offer spectacular backdrops for your wedding photographs. Why not plan a visit with your photographer before the wedding to choose your ideal location.

In its early days, the hinterland area was a successful timber region. Its Cedar, Beech and Hoop Pine trees provided wood for furniture and construction both locally in south-east Queensland and exported to the United Kingdom. Once cleared, the rich red volcanic soil from ancient lava flows gave birth to a dairy farming industry that supported the surrounding district for many years. Even today, the local dairy products are very popular. The Sunshine Coast Hinterland is the sort of destination where the memories will be cherished forever.
